Taking Sora's old profile and giving it a huge makeover. X3 She'll still be the same character though, just with a name change and slightly different attitude.

[Name:] Kaia Shiruzaki
[Gender:] Female
[Age:] 16
[Pokemorph:] Swellow
[Appearance:] The first thing people notice about Kaia is her height. At six feet even, she's taller than most, but actually doesn't stand out much because of it. Her hair is another noticeable trait; long brown hair reaching down to her waist is kind of hard to miss, after all. She doesn't like messing with it, so it stays straight most of the time, but on certain occasions she'll put it in a ponytail.
She has warm amber eyes with small flecks of green, and her skin has the color of someone that would rather stay indoors, but doesn't have to be forced to go out. She is often seen with a small smile on her face, often coinciding with the times she's daydreaming.
Being a Pokemorph, she shares some characteristics with the Pokemon Swellow. On her back are Swellow's navy wings, large enough to allow her flight but sleek enough to allow her to hide them (under a jacket, for example), to some extent at the very least. However, instead of the middle feathers being white, Kaia's are a lighter shade of the blue on the other feathers, and the feathers on her tail tips are yellow, rather than the usual red (not even Kaia knows why that is, but she puts it down to simple color variation). Navy feathers, albeit smaller and softer than her wing feathers, also cover much of her back and shoulders (though people generally don't know they exist, as Kaia never wears anything that revealing).
As for clothes, Kaia is more practical than fashionable, and what fashion she does have is the kind that says "I'll wear what I want, and I don't care what you think about it." She is usually seen wearing a blue t-shirt with a black collar, and a black stripe going down the middle. White denim shorts can be seen in warmer weather, but when it gets colder she switches them out for a pair of white capris, pants, or sweats, if it's cold enough. In such cooler weather, she'll also take out her favorite jacket, a simple black jacket that she generally finds herself stuffing her various items of importance into.
She ALWAYS wears a pair of sneakers (wouldn't be able to get her into high heels unless her life depended on it), and carries around a beaten knapsack. On her right wrist is a black leather bracelet with a metal label inscribed with the word "Boar" and the corresponding Chinese character.
[Personality:] Kaia is a bit of an enigma, full of unknowns and contradictions. Not many people can tell what she's thinking at any given moment, as her thoughts change quickly to and from random subjects. She could be thinking about that person on the news that was killed last week, and next she could be thinking about which shiny Pokemon's color scheme is the best. She's always lost in her own little world, one that she almost seems to prefer over the one she actually lives in.
She has a passive, calm personality, and doesn't like confrontation, but will hold her ground when needed. Kaia generally keeps to herself, preferring a small group of close friends rather than a large crowd. Kaia's the kind of person that follows rules and pretty much goes with the flow. She's quiet most of the time, either reading, drawing, or the aforementioned daydreaming, but the rest of the time she tends to be a little random, blurting out random phrases or doing stupid things (generally she does these when she's had a bit too much sugar). However, when she gets upset, she tends to shut down, practically paralyzed by negative emotions (many of the thoughts going through her head at the time don't tend to help much).
Kaia believes the average (or as close as she can get to it) about herself, and generally doesn't really care what other people think about her. She thinks that while she's not pretty, she's not ugly, not smart, but not stupid, etc. She listens to people's opinions often enough, on a variety of subjects, but generally chooses to make her own choice and take on any consequences. She tries to keep a positive outlook, but she also tends to go by the motto "Sometimes it's better to expect the worst; that way you won't be disappointed," in certain situations, which can make her seem a little more pessimistic than she actually is.
Kaia's also a bit of a tomboy. She absolutely abhors skirts, dresses, short shorts, and tank tops, along with makeup and most jewelry, and is incredibly modest (you couldn't pay her a million dollars to wear a two-piece swimsuit), though that can also be chalked up to simply not liking that sort of thing.
[History:] Kaia's had a pretty lonely life. As long as she can remember, she's been on her own. She doesn't remember having any parents, and in her early years she lived at an orphanage. Most of the kids there were as young as she was, and therefore thought of her wings as "cool" and "pretty," but the older kids (and one or two of the adults, though they didn't quite broadcast it) hated her for them, calling her a freak and an outcast that didn't deserve a family.
Of course, this would always make her tear up. Whenever that happened, she'd shut down, and basically ignore everything around her, as a kind of defense mechanism. Eventually, she got to the point where their insults didn't affect her at all on the surface, so they saw it was pointless and stopped. But on the inside, every harsh word still scarred her, and she got to the point where she couldn't take it any more.
One night she packed up what little she had and ran away, determined to find a home on her own. Of course, at the time she hadn't realized what a foolish notion it was (she was nine years old at the time), and quickly landed herself in trouble.
While walking through a dark alleyway (something she'd never really learned that you shouldn't do), she was approached by a group of two scraggly-looking Poochyena and a Houndour, who was obviously the leader.
They growled at her, then leaped, biting and clawing. It took several days for those wounds to heal, during which she stayed in an abandoned house near the edge of the town (she had wanted to head back to the orphanage, but quickly found that she'd lost her way).
After that, she spent her time wandering aimlessly around, halfheartedly trying to find the orphanage again, but she never did, and eventually just left.
On the far outskirts of the town (almost far enough away that it wasn't even in the outskirts) was a little farm, not having much except a house, a barn and a few Miltank. Kaia slept in the barn that night, but the next morning she woke up to someone shaking her. Opening her eyes, she saw a middle-aged couple looking at her in concern. She quickly mumbled an excuse, saying that she didn't have anywhere to go, but the couple just smiled and brought her to the house and cleaned her up.
Over dinner (which she ate quite a lot of, as she was quite skinny by this point) she told them her story, short as it was, and sat in silence for the rest of the meal while the couple got up and moved to the kitchen (they were talking, but low enough that Kaia couldn't make out what they said).
When they came out and everything was put away, they sat down with her and asked her if she wanted to stay, to which she started bawling, enormously happy that she had found people who accepted her, even with her wings, and vigorously agreed.
The next few years of her life are of little importance, though they were some of the best. She lived with the couple, being homeschooled (this is what sparked her voracious appetite for reading, and read she did, about anything and everything) and doing chores around the farm. She started growing up, getting more mature and learning more about the arbitrary ways of the world, and started having dreams of going out and exploring it to her heart's content.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and this was no exception. Now fifteen years old, Kaia had learned a great deal about the world, and the kinds of people living in it. However, she never expected to come across a certain kind of people so early in her life.
One night, she was sleeping in the barn, as she had often done over the past five years since the day she was caught doing it. Now, Kaia is generally a very deep sleeper; not much wakes her up, especially in the middle of the night, and unfortunately tonight was no exception.
The next morning, she was woken up by sirens. Getting dressed, she ran out of the barn to see what was wrong, and saw a pile of ash and charred wood where her home used to be. Police cars and a fire truck were at the scene, examining the area. One of the officers approached her, and she numbly answered his questions with monosyllabic answers, all the while wondering why life had thrown a curveball at her now.
The police said it was arson, that they had found evidence of kerosene around the perimeter of the house. But to Kaia, it didn't matter. The only family she'd ever had was dead, and nothing was going to bring them back.
So, being Kaia, she wallowed in her grief for about a week, then decided that her adopted parents wouldn't want her moping around the rest of her life. So she decided to take control of her own life and live for the people that had taken her in.
With an odd sense of deja vu, she packed up her things (everything that had survived the fire, at least) and left, but this time with a purpose in mind.
She was going to explore, learn about the world, and become a Pokemon trainer (because who in their right mind would go off all on their own?). And so it was that Kaia headed off to the Airore region, on a mission to live for the ones that no longer could.
[Other:] About the bracelet: Kaia was born in the Year of the Boar, and as such, has the Boar bracelet. It was a gift from the couple that took her in, and wears it in memory of them.

History is fail. DX Really really really REALLY do NOT like it (my muse found some reason to abandon me today), but hey; at least it's done....
