Jamie's Training{W.I.P}

Jamie entered the training hall. It was a huge stadium type arena. Jamie didn't understand why they needed such a huge area just for training for. It was a huge brick building. The walls were colored in blue wallpaper and Jamie was standing on a tan colored hardwood floor. Like those gyms you see when your in school.

There was two trainer boxes, where the trainers stood in to give orders to there Pokemon that were battling. There was a huge Pokeball painting on the floor in the middle of the arena in between both trainer boxes, where the Pokemon battled at.

Now the trainer boxes, one was colored blue and the other was colored red. The challenger, which was Jamie got into the blue box. The challenger was always supposed to use the blue trainer box while the person they battled used the red one.

Jamie had made a strange request for this fight as well. The person at the counter looked at her like she was nuts, when she told her she'd like a special battle arena where the trainer feels everything the Pokemon feels when it's attacked. Jamie wanted to feel what it's like to be a Pokemon and be in the battle.

Jamie got into the blue box which was setting high up off the floor just like the red box across from her. The room layout reminded her of the Viridian City gym in Kanto. She waited with Squirts, for her opponent to show up. She had decided on a two on two battle since she only has two Pokemon anyway.

This would be the first time she'd be using her Drowzee in a battle. She was actually a little bit nervous about it. She wasn't sure yet if she could handle Drowzee good enough in a battle yet. The two of them after all had gotten off to a rough start when she caught Drowzee. She had been real rough on him during the capture fight for eating up her Pokeblock that her mother had made for her.

"Squirtle!" Squirts suddenly called, breaking Jamie's train of thought as he pointed to the other side of the arena, though the door where Jamie's opponent had just entered. It was a girl about her age with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes. She wore a short blue dress with a white shirt underneath it. She had her hair up in two high ponytails, that wasn't even touching her shoulders. She had pale and skin and high tops.

"Hi, my name is Melissa and you must be my opponent. You don't really look like much of a trainer to me," she said.

"I'm not a trainer, I'm a Coordinator. That's why," Jamie pointed out to Melissa.

"Well, why aren't you working on your Pokemon's beauty then? This place is for trainers, not Coordinators. Go off and Coordinate somewhere or something," Melissa said, insulting Jamie.

"Why you," Jamie said getting kinda mad, at Melissa. She could tell when she was being insulted now. And this was a huge insult to the teen, as she stood there clinking her fist in anger,"You'll see what type of Coordinator I am once we start the fight. Coordinating is also about battling too you know."

The judge of the battle walked in just then and set in the small brown colored judges booth to judge the battle between the two girls. He was a short chubby man in his late 40s, with short brown hair and glasses on his face. And he had a small mustache under his nose. He wore a white tux and tie and black colored dress pants and dress shoes. His name tag, believe it or not said,'Judge Tux.'

Melissa got into the red colored trainer's booth, thinking she'd be the winner for sure. Unlike Jamie she was very excited about the battle. All of her Pokemon were very strong after all. She owned more then two Pokemon though. She had picked the two best Pokemon she had for this battle, sure they would win.

"Azumarill! I choose you!" Melissa suddenly called out throwing the round red and white Pokeball out onto the arena. But this Azumarill was a different color then what it's supposed to be. But the rest of it, besides the gold color was white. It looked like a fat rabbit with a thin tail with a golden ball at the tip of it's tail. And it was female.

Jamie looked up Azumarill in her Pokedex,"Azumarill,the Aqua Rabbit Pokémon. The evolved form of Marill. This Pokémon uses its large, highly developed ears to hear great distances, even underwater. It lives in rivers and lakes, and while in water its body color and pattern confuses its enemies," the Pokedex explained to Jamie.

"Why is the one in the Pokedex blue? This one's yellow," Jamie wondered. She was very confused at this as she put the red colored Pokedex back up in her pocket.

"Are you stupid or what? Is this the first time you've seen a shiny Pokemon?" Melissa asked Jamie, rolling her eyes at the girl's stupidly.

"Shiny Pokemon? What's a shiny Pokemon?" Jamie asked Melissa.

"In this world there are some Pokemon with rare coloring called shinnies. They are different colors then other Pokemon. I have also heard of albino Pokemon which are all colored in white," Melissa explained,"But you'll learn more about those later on. Now, shall we begin our battle?"

"Alright! I'll use my water type against yours. Go Squirts!" Jamie said. Squirts jumped out onto the battle field ready for a fight.

"The challenger gets the first move. You may begin now," said Judge Tux as he rang a bell.

"Squirts! Use Bubble attack!" Jamie called out. Squirts shot bubbles out of his mouth aiming them at the Azumarill. It almost looked like bubbles one uses to take a bubble bath with. The attack hit Azumarill but didn't do very much damage to the other water type at all. However, Melissa still felt a small shock go though her body as her Pokemon felt the attack. However she just took it as just a tiny jolt of static,"What!" Jamie was confused.

"You really should study more, you know. Water attacks don't do much damage to other water Pokemon," Melissa told her. Jamie smacked herself upside the head. How could she have been so stupid to forget that? "On the other hand, Azumarill use Tackle attack."

"Azu!" Azumarill screamed running at Squirts with the Tackle attack. It came in fast onto the water turtle type, knocking him hard and sending him flying across the room. Jamie screamed as she felt the electric current in her body, feeling what Squirts was feeling.

"Come on Squirts, fight back with your own Tackle attack," Jamie told him. Now she was using a much better attack against the Azumarill. Squirts ran at Azumarill with his own Tackle attack, making a hit on it. And this time it was Melissa who felt the shock waves go though her body as she felt her Pokemon's pain at being hit with the Tackle attack.

"Azurmarill, don't let that Squirtle beat you. Use another Tackle attack!" Melissa ordered. Azurmarill ran at Squirts hitting him again. Seemed, Jamie's Squirtle wasn't very good at dodging attacks yet.
