Breezy Day [Open]

Leaves rustled, Pokemon scurried about, and the sound of whistling filled the peaceful atmosphere.

A young brown-haired girl with the wings of a Butterfree was practically skipping down the path, her silver wings occasionally twitching, as if itching to take flight. Perched on her head was a Treecko with shimmering, light green scales (he was the reason the girl wasn't flying about at the moment, as she didn't want him to fall no matter how good he claimed his grip to be), whistling in sync with her, as he'd recognized the tune.

Of course, this was excluding the other pair, walking behind them. They had effectively shattered the tranquility of the scene, bickering with each other. This was Arjay the Viecoon and Kuzon the Sandshell, who, once the Water-type had made his appearance, at once started arguing. The subject managed to change every few seconds, but the altercation (whatever it was currently about) was getting more and more heated.

Finally the girl (who was of course Katy Hawkins) turned around and shouted, "Can you guys please SHUSH?!?"

Both creatures instantly hung their heads and looked properly abashed. But despite their apparently sincere appearance, a smile twitched on the morph's face and she said, "I know you guys are faking it."[/color]

Kuzon's head shot up and glared at the raccoon Pokemon, saying, <Well this runt started it. It's not my fault if he says stupid stuff.>[/color]

Arjay leaped up and whacked him on the head. <That was you, nimrod!>[/color] he retorted. <Jeez, if you're gonna come up with an excuse, at least make it plausible!>[/color]

Katy sighed in exasperation (yet she was still smiling) and turned around and continued walking.

Reptain, looking back at the duo in concern (so far he hadn't had quite the best first impression of them), and whispered, <Ah, Katy? Is it okay to let them keep going like that?>[/color]

His Trainer giggled. "Yeah, it's okay. They ALWAYS argue; I'm kinda used to it by now, but I s'pose it's kinda weird for you. Don't worry about it, they'll calm down eventually,"[/color] she replied, then resumed her whistling. Reptain quirked an eye (not that she saw it) at her response, but mentally shrugged and joined in, both trying to tune out the argument.

OOC//...And that's Katy's Route 1 start. Yippee, such an accomplishment. [/sarcasm] But it's the best I can do, since my muse has YET AGAIN gone AWOL. -shrug-

Occ/ hope you don't mind me setting the time...

Asher looked around, it was still a bit dark and the sun was just creeping up on the horizon. After walking for a few hours on the route after getting his pokemon. The air was very quite and few pokemon were up. The calm atmosphere made Asher a bit tired, and he yawned, even though he had gotten up only about 6 hours ago and had already eaten his "lunch" minutes ago.

His new pokemon, a Eevee, looked up at him, noticing the yawn and she even yawned as well. After the Eevee yawned she looked up at Asher asking, <Is your schedule always as messed up as this Asher?> Sighing Asher was about to reply when he heard two pokemon arguing and in the middle of it someone was whistling a tune as well.

Not really wanting to answer the question Asher simply answered with, "Hey, who that," and sprinted off, Eevee following close behind. After a few seconds of running they saw a Butterfree pokemorph, treeko on her head and two other pokemon following behind her, the source of the arguing.

OOC// I don't mind. I didn't really specify all that much, did I? X3 (The time, anyway, though I don't mind the ending either. X3)

Finally the duo's argument escalated so much that it erupted into a brawl, the two Pokemon tussling and trying to pin the other to the ground (which was much harder for Arjay to actually do, but he was making it difficult for Kuzon by weaving in between the Sandshell's limbs). They got so loud that Katy turned around and actually yelled at them to shut up.

"SHUSH! You guys are gonna wake up Dratini!"

[/color] she said, a frown on her face. Both Pokemon resisted the urge to roll their eyes, as the Dratini she was referring to was still an egg inside her cushioned backpack.

"Seriously, guys, I felt her move!"[/color] she continued (whether she actually had or not remained a mystery). Sighing, the two Pokemon put some distance between them, and they continued down the path (though they were now arguing in whispers).

<Who's Dratini?>[/color] Reptain said curiously.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to show you, huh?"[/color] Katy tugged off her backpack (carefully) and opened the top section, where a light blue and white egg was nestled. "It's a Dratini egg. Someday she's gonna hatch and be a really big Dragonair! Cool, huh?"[/color]

<Ah, Katy? We have company,>[/color] Reptain said, jumping nimbly to the ground in case said company wanted to battle. It was only then that Katy noticed the figure watching her, an Eevee at his feet. By his ears and tail, she realized he was an Umbreon Pokemorph.

"Wow! You're a Pokemorph just like me! Cool!"[/color] Katy said excitedly. "My name's Katy Hawkins. This is Reptain, Arjay, and Kuzon,"[/color] she continued, motioning to each Pokemon in turn. "What's your name, mister?"[/color]

[Crazed Lapras]

Skipping down the road came another pair to add to the scene. Red and blue ears bounced along as the Plusle and Minun friends continued down the path, unaware of the group they were about to stumble upon. Despite the early hour, the Plusle seemed over joyed. "Oh what a lovely morning!" she called, twirling her arms around her. Her Minun companion smiled slightly, but did not talk. He was simply content to follow her as they continued to walk to who knew where.

Minun was the first to notice the pokemorph's and their pokemon. He motioned for Plusle to shush and dragged her behind a small bush. She giggle softly, causing the branches to sway as they peeked out at the strange gathering.

Occ/ really short, sorry really had a bad day

"I'm Asher," said Asher, "and this is Eevee," he added, gesturing towards Eevee. Who simply said, <Hi> and smiled at Katy then added in the direction of the company, <and your names?>.

Katy closed up her backpack and tugged it back on, saying, "Asher, huh? Nice name!"

However, the moving bushes off to the side caught her attention, and she saw flashes of blue, red, and cream-colored fur between the branches.

<Who's there?>[/color] Arjay called, moving closer to get a better look at the figure (or figures) hiding behind the bush.

"What Pokemon is it, Arjay?"[/color] Katy asked, bending down to peer inside the bush (as if that would actually help).

<Can't tell,>[/color] he replied, moving closer still.

<What do you think the odds are of him being attacked?>[/color] Kuzon whispered to Reptain, amusement in his tone.

Reptain rolled his eyes, but said nothing, watching as Arjay moved some of the bush's branches aside.

<Oi, Katy! It's a little Plusle and Minun!>[/color] the Viecoon called back, smiling. <Whatcha doin' back there, anyway?>[/color] he said to the aforementioned Pokemon.

[Crazed Lapras]

Approached by the Viecoon, the little electric types jumped out of their hiding place, startled. They raced out into the middle of the path, facing the two trainers and their assorted pokemon. Minun stepped protectively in front of Plusle, growling and glaring at everyone assembled. Despite her friend's hostility, Plusle leaned around him to wave cheerily, beaming from ear to ear. "Hello friends. What are you doing out here?"

Asher saw the flashes too, however when he saw that the Viecoon was going to check the bushes he didn't move towards the bush to investigate as well. However soon after Katy started looking in the bush he started to walk towards the bush. Hearing the Sandshell's comment he smiled, and stopped walking for a second. Before he could start walking again, the Plusle burst out of the bush.

Surprised by the sudden appearance Asher jaw dropped just a bit. However he closed his jaw quickly after. Still he was surprised after the Plusle came out so did a Minum whic seemed very protective about his/her sibling. After hearing the Plusle's little question, Asher smiled and answered, "Nothing much, just exchanging names," all the while thinking, "The're like yin and yang one is very protective the other is very open."

Another trainer was walking down the route as well. But this trainer wasn't very friendly like the other two, and only cared about powerful Pokemon and released the weak ones back into the wild. Paul had just got his Charmander and wanted to catch something good.

He saw the Plusle and Minun and right away called out his Charmander and told it,"Use Scratch attack on the Minun." Going for the one he thought was stronger. Charmander ran at the Minun aiming a Scratch attack at it, hoping to hit it and Paul hoping the Plusle wouldn't interfere, in the fight.

OOC: I know this seems a little mean, but Paul's a Cannon and that's the way he acts. He's always doing things like this. I remember once Ash weaken a Pokemon and was going to catch it but then Paul, jumped in and threw a Pokeball at it, catching it.
